Dundlod Fort

For people who would like to experience the feeling of living in an old fort, this is the place. The fort is cautiously transformed into a hotel, full of old furniture and memories. My room was spacious with a modern bathroom. Food was very good. The manager was very helpful, as was the owner Ms Mallyka. A highlight is a horse farm, full of beautiful Marwari horses. There you have a chance to ride one of the Marwaris, they also offer longer excursions. Near the fort, you find some of the old Shekhawati havelis with their frescos still visible. Rural Dundlod and its fort are a good alternative to the usual well-known places in the Shekhawati area.
