Bedrock Beach Villas

The accommodation was tucked away in a very peaceful setting, and we had a beautiful view from our room. We were the only guests during our stay and really enjoyed the delicious meals that were prepared for us. The pool was lovely and added to the fun. It’s a great place to relax, and with our tuk-tuk it was easy to explore the surrounding area.

This is a truly beautiful resort with breathtaking views of both a nearby lake and the ocean. The setting is peaceful and scenic—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were outstanding: friendly, supportive, and always ready with great activity recommendations. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in a serene, picture-perfect location.

We visited during fly season in Kalpitiya, so having nets on the windows would have made a big difference. With just a bit more maintenance, this place has the potential to be truly exceptional. Overall, a lovely stay in a peaceful and scenic setting. Would definitely return!

Staff very nice

The hotel was very remote and the beach not accessible.

Quiet and peacefull place. The Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Food available a'la carte (pre order is required), tasty, with vegetarian options aswell.

The area is pretty remote with not many establishments around. Part of the beach closest to the Bungalows is not the Best. It's worth having a little walk along the coast. There you can also seat down at the bar and have a drink :) There were plenty of flies in the area and also inside the Bungalow.

Breakfest was excellent. Everything was fresh and made perfectly. Sitting outside and enjoying the breakest with a cup of tea was the perfect way to start the day.
