Sunrise Hostel Taghazout

I had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for my room to be cleaned, despite being told it would only take 20 minutes. The so-called manager, Hamza, is completely unstable—shouting, swearing, and losing control over something as trivial as taking three pieces of cheese at breakfast. His behavior raises serious concerns about his mental state and ability to manage guests professionally. The towels were dirty, and if you’re staying as a couple, expect to share one because getting a clean replacement on time is nearly impossible. To top it off, the room had an unbearable mix of sweat and other unpleasant odors, making the stay uncomfortable and far from what was promised

The staff, the vibe, everything is perfect. Superb breakfast and it’s the only hostel that Iv been with so many cool people, just everything is amazing! This place is really underrated.

All is good. A little guide for location. When you get to the pinned location, you’ll see a coke sign in one of the buildings, follow that turn left then proceed to the stairs. The hostel door is in the middle of the stairs.

Hamza is an exceptionally good host. Creates a great ambience, and the breakfast is immense

I had an incredible experience staying at Sunrise Hostel Taghazout! The warm and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. A special mention goes to Hamza, whose kindness, attentiveness, and local knowledge made my stay truly exceptional. Whether it was offering helpful tips for exploring the area or ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect, Hamza went above and beyond. The hostel itself is a gem—clean, cozy, and perfectly located with breathtaking views that are simply unforgettable. The communal spaces are thoughtfully designed, creating a friendly environment that encourages connection with fellow travelers. Thank you, Sunrise Hostel, and especially Hamza, for creating such a memorable experience. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Taghazout! 🌅✨

Everything about my stay met or exceeded my expectations. I have no complaints whatsoever.

The manager there is lovely, the free breakfast was great, it’s in a good location in taghazout and there is a nice view from the rooftop

The dorm room is 5 beds in a tiny space, one of the least private/comfortable dorms i’ve ever stayed in. There are no curtains on the bed, it’s right next to the front door and they ran out of lockers. The bathrooms are shared (two in the whole place) and pretty dirty. Also there is no signage on the front door so it’s not easy to find.

Really liked the friendly member of staff that greeted us, the breakfast, and the view from the top of the building. The location is also good.

Unfortunately the room we booked (a 3 bed dorm for 3 of us) ended up being a shared 5 bedroom dorm with no door, just a curtain. When we tried to contact the owner he never responded (beware). We ended up having to book a different accommodation and owner wouldn’t refund us for any of the 5 nights we had booked.
