The house looks old outside, but the inside is renovated. 4 larger than normal bedrooms with twin beds in each room are fantastic. Kitchenware fully equipped. Parking beside the house. 7 of us were happy with it.

You need the car to get there. So recommend if only you rent a car.

"Modest authentic Japanese domicile in picturesque mountain country getaway."

Excellent location if you are driving in the region like we were. Very cozy and genuine Japanese traditional house with good atmosphere. Be careful for low ceilings and doorways if you are a tall person!

The amenities are not the most modern but that is to be expected given the property. But you still get modern creature comforts- AC/heating, hot water, adequately equipped kitchen. So really, not bad at all.

Beautiful house, easy parking, good location to explore Hakone and the surrounding areas with our rental car from Odawara. More than enough space for 4 people.

The inclusion of a washer was appreciated but we would have liked a dryer

The place was spacious and very clean. There were many rooms so we all can have our own space.

The parking was there but it was a bit difficult to go in or leave the property since it is located right on the main road and other cars were driving fast.
