The way they lied to us AC was broken the grist night they said they sent us a text about but the was done after we did the booking and when I was at property , they fridge ruined my food because it’s was on and off all the time asked if I can at least stay one more hour to get everything. Ready to leave by 12 instead of 11 they said no the first night we didn’t. Sleep at all the house was 78 or more the manager told me room downstairs should not be that hot mosquitos and a hot room not a good combination, for a $300 or more night I will not recommend this cabin.
USBeautiful place and a great location. It's in the woods but only minutes away from good food options and shops, also very close to hiking, kayaking activities. Great kitchen area for entertaining. There's a neat outdoor firepit area with swings that was really nice. It was fun for the wife and I, but there's room for more!

A couple things to mention would be that the dryer at two bathing suits by completely slicing the strings. The horse shoes were missing a peg. Couple dishes were in the drawer dirty
USAfter reading all the great reviews, we were excited for a quick and quiet getaway weekend. However, I would not recommend Waffle Ridge if you’re wanting an easy trip. First, the five-bed accommodation was a key benefit in selecting this place. But when we arrived, the fifth bed wasn’t available. It felt almost like a bait-and-switch. When contacted, the point of contact Phil didn’t offer any reasonable solutions and implied we were bothering him by calling. Next, the house was set to above 80 degrees when we arrived. For a mid-August stay! It took nearly 14 hours for the house to be comfortable, which made the night’s sleep uncomfortable. Phil again implied we were bothering him and that the house would eventually get cool. Additionally, the fridge didn’t work properly. While it was colder than the 80-degree room, it wasn’t cold enough to keep drinks cool or meat safe. Phil highlighted that the welcome instructions specifically say that the fridge can’t handle a lot of items. What’s the purpose of a fridge if you have to limit how much you put in??? We had to throw away $200 worth of groceries when they felt warm to the touch after a night in the fridge. Instead of cooking, we had to go to restaurants for all our meals. If the fridge and house take 12-24 hours to get to temp and Phil knows it, why didn’t he fire those up the day before we arrived? Finally, after we continued to contact Phil about these and other issues we were having, Phil stopped responding to calls. I guess he felt we were bothering him, so his answer was to ghost us for a bit. I’m not a fan of writing reviews, but I want others to be prepared if they book a weekend here.
USBeautiful and spacious. Well decorated and comfortable. Loved the hot tub too! It had everything I needed and I enjoyed coming back to this cabin after a day of hiking in the beautiful nearby parks. Close to everything.
Two minor things: I couldn’t turn off the guest bathroom fan and the fireplace didn’t work. It was summer so I didn’t bother with the fireplace and just kept the guest bathroom closed.
