Ray homestay

The room was clean & spacious, the breakfast was very good, the staff was nice

The shower was cold

Ray is very welcoming and took really good care of us during our stay. The other staff are brilliant too.

Good value stay, breakfast every morning, were able to accommodate for me needing a gluten free breakfast. Ray was super helpful, arranged us a taxi and bike rental.

It’s very very basic, but that’s what you pay the low price for. Toilet has manual flush, taps are a bit smelly, rooms quite dirty.

Property was amazing. beds were bigger than singles and really comfy. the area is really nice. Great breakfast and coffee in the morning too. Most of all, Ray was absolutely amazing - so so friendly and helpful. He picked us up from the harbour, organised day trips, and drove us around everywhere. Would highly recommend Ray Homestay. Was a 10/10 experience. Thank you so much ! :)

ray seemed like a nice person, the houses looked beautiful on the outside and with a little balcony.

unfortunately the inside was nog great. It looked like there was black moll on the wall and something black on the curtains. it didn’t feel clean for us. we decided to leave early and sleep somewhere else because of this.

Ray is a caring hoste

The property looks nice from outside. The lady working there was amazing 💕

The owner was very pushy trying to sell tours and services all the time. The washroom was very old and looks dirty, dusty, and no hot water.

The location is great for going both east, west, and south. The staff and Ray were very nice and friendly. There are ATMs, supermarkets, and cafes with local food near the place. Wifi was available and working okay. Included breakfast consisted of tea and a small banana pancake which is not enough for half of a day, but a good start and excellent for the price of the stay

- No air conditioning. Sound isolation is not present - you can hear every sound from the street inside your room. Restroom peculiarities were already mentioned in other reviews and I was ok with it

First of all its cheap and they are very chille about check in/out. Gedde (Ray) is an amazing and friendly Human being, who is so helpfull and just want you to feel at home at his place. And you really do! Its a beautiful place, not much noise from the street, close to the harbor to Sanur, shops and eating places (night market). Free tea and coffee and breakfast where you choose between pancake or omelette (really good both of them). It’s also possible to wash clothes there.

There is no aircondition, but a fan. Only cold shower and no toilet flush, but you get used to that. Unfortunately we lost 4 shirts when they washed them.
