This place is INCREDIBLE!! Kasun the owner is one of the nicest guys ever - so kind, helpful and goes above and beyond to assist in every need. Watermelon on arrival, fresh coconut on departure, organised safari, prepared yummy breakfast included in the price, relaxed check out timing....the list goes on! The villa was stunning, way better than the pictures. The garden is stunning and my son loved running around discovering all the plants, wildlife and fruits. Beautiful garden

Great location and set in beautiful gardens

This was the best accommodation we’ve had so far in Sri Lanka. The room is spacious, nicely furnished, and very clean. From the terrace, you have a view of the beautifully landscaped garden. The owner is one of the nicest people we’ve met in Sri Lanka! He organized a half-day safari to the national park for us. Breakfast and dinner were excellent every day, and he even gave us a ride to the bus stop so we could continue our journey to Ella. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Udawalawe, I can wholeheartedly recommend this one!

Excellent accomodation for the price with super friendly and helpful hosts. They organised a private 4 hr safari including breakfast and lunch for $60 each. We saw so much wildlife and it seemed to go on for much longer than the agreed 4 hours! The driver / guide managed to find lots of interesting animals. Lunch in the park overlooking the lake was a highlight too. The accomodation is a 5 minute drive to the park, and the gardens surrounding the bungalow are beautifully landscaped. The property was spotlessly clean too.

Nothing

Everything was perfect! The room was really clean and spacious, and the host was incredibly kind. He even allowed us a late checkout since our safari ended at 12 PM and prepared a delicious breakfast for us to take along early in the morning. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Udawalawe.

The host was this super friendly young guy. The place is very charming. He plugged in router next to our cottage for wifi. Easy communication all around. Cottages were very spacious. Breakfast served anytime we needed = after safari at 11am.

I booked this place at the last minute, after a complicated situation, and not only it was my savior, but it was also a true surprise. I've stayed in many residences, cottages, and hotels around the world, but here I left a piece of my heart. The well-maintained garden, the variety of birds chirping (you can literally go birdwatching in the garden), the clean rooms, the delicious food, and the hospitality of the staff. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay before a safari in Udawalawe. It’s underrated, go and experience it for yourself, and thank you again for everything!
