Easy pick up after a tiring flight. Finding a decent room quick, shower, sleep. Thats what you need. Next morning a breakfast. Not fancy but ok. The whole package for a short first night is worth the money.

Its a buildung which requires some Upgrade. But to be fair: Most accomodations in Entebbe are overpriced. This one is ok.

Very beautiful garden, peaceful location, and extremely attentive and helpful staff. It was absolutely fantastic that they could drop me off at the airport even in the middle of the night (2am). The bed was comfortable enough and there was a mosquito net and very decent wifi (although it did turn off in the mornings).

The interior of the room was very dated (peeling paint, creaky furniture, very uncomfortable chair/table). This could easily be improved by renovating the rooms and replacing the furniture with some new ones.

First night breakfast was served to me in the morning and was fine. Second night the breakfast was quite a poor buffet with a shared tub of butter. Had a very bizarre experience when trying to order lunch which I stress is not the fault of the hotel staff who were on duty. I went into an empty dining room and asked for the menu. When I ordered it transpired the entire hotel kitchen staff was "off." A man acting like a manager but who I later found is not the manager at all pretty much shouted at the poor boy trying to help. The boy with limited English rang for a takeaway. I sat and waited...and waited....and all the while this man who was not the manager at all sat at a table doing some kind of paperwork. I waited and asked for a mango juice thinking they had at least this at the hotel. No reply from the man to me at all but he phoned somewhere "She wants mango juice. " I waited....and waited and felt my last day in Entebbe slipping by. Eventually I said I would sit in the garden. The man who is NOT the manager got agitated and informed me as far as I could understand it there was no food ordered and no food. Somehow that he had paid someone something somewhere got into the conversation which seemed very odd. This made no sense because I had had a conversation with a boy on the phone ordering the food Still thinking this was the manager I told him I would be writing a poor review. He was quite rude. It all reminded me of Fawlty Towers. This is an English comedy about a hotel. I went down the stairs and the staff explained the man is ill and not the manager but a friend of the manager and food had been ordered. I waited in the garden and waited....Eventually the boy who ordered the food went to get it. He said the delivery place kept lying and saying it was on the way. When it came and no fault to the boy ordering it I got ginger soup I cannot eat, not great chips and vegetables and a mango juice.
