Clean and newly renovated! Excellent location! It's close to the fish market, so it can be noisy even at night, but I think it's part of the experience! In the evening, there are many restaurants and bars, and the area is very lively.

It is near the historical center, fish market but any apartment within 2-3 streets radius will too. The local bus station is right here, but to go to taormina or anywhere farther away you need to go to the other bus station (Catania Central Bus Station). I could rent a car but the parking is crazy expensive and it wouldnt make sense to pay 20 euros a day for private parking plus all the other car expenses. It'd be better to look for an apartment elsewhere.

This apartment has: - noise all night until 4-5 AM every night (the soundproofing doesn't work at all when you have a loud party right outside your windows), - moisture and weird smell, especially in the bathroom, - cockroaches, found 2 of them (dead) in the bathroom during our one week stay It doesn't have: - washing machine or dishwasher, not even a bowl to wash your clothes in, - oven to properly reheat food, only a microwave, - freezer (no ice for drinks), - ironing board, despite having an iron

The central location and the apartment’s facilities were excellent.

Because of the central location it was pretty noisy in the evening - earplugs would be recommended!

Spacious apartment in the old town very close to the cathedral. Nice place with a comfy bed. Not reachable by car, but the owner met us at the parking and walked us to the apartment.

The nightlife might deep through the windows (but that's what you get for staying in the center). Private parking offered ,but costs 20 euros a day we did not know in advance. Street parking seems possible though.

Everything was perfect, Gaetano was an excellent host, the apartment is spacious enough, clean, well equipped and new. A very lively place... the square where the apartment is located transforms three times in 24 hours. If you like to be close to the action, and you love start your morning with a good coffee, a market rich in fruits, vegetables, fish, delicates, and end the evening in an excellent mood, this is the place for it. If you don't like a little noise, look elsewhere. Highly recommended, everything is within reach and the owner of the apartment himself completes the positive spirit of Catania. First night was very noisy but l think that they celebrited,rest of nights were good.

Perfect location 3 blocks from the Duomo. It is a large, well appointed apartment. Gaetano was very responsive to our last minute request to check in early. A 20 minute walk to the train station.

So close to everything and still quiet inside! Gaitano was a great host!
