BGThe place is situated near a small river and has a really beautiful scenic view over the mountains. The room is spacious, clean and has simplistic but efficient furnishing - nothing too fancy. The brown floor and plain white walls gave the room a rather stark feel. On the first floor there is a common area with a kitchen, barbecue and a few big tables that seem suitable for evening hangouts for bigger companies - unfortunately we arrived rather late - so had no chance to utilize it. The area looked as a popular touristic place as there were multitude of similar cottages/houses/villas around. As conclusion the accommodation can be as a nice "base" camp for exploring the Transfăgărășan and the Făgăraș Mountains but you need at least a few nights.
There seemed to be a language barrier between us and the hostess which wasn't problematic at all but probably we missed on some useful information. Not sure if we understood correctly but I believe eating in the rooms is prohibited and the common area should be used instead.
