Casa Pomposa

Nur die Lage des Hauses zum Strand und der Stellplatz. Unhygienischste und ungepflegteste Unterkunft, die wir je hatten. Àlles war schmutzig, klebrig, zugemüllt, Handtücher, Stuhlkissen und Bettwäsche fleckig, Haarbüschel klebten an den Kabeln der Elektrogeräte in der Küche. Der erste Gang war in den Supermarkt, um Putzmittel zu kaufen und sämtliche Textilien zu waschen.

Bis auf den Parkplatz alles. Die von Booking.com mitgeteilte Telefonnummer war bei Anruf.nicht bekannt, E-Mail aus der Schweiz. Der Vermieter bagatellisierte unsere Beschwerden und ist nach mehrfacher Anfrage von Booking.com bisher nicht mehr erreichbar, obwohl er mir am Abreisetag schrieb, dass er mit dem Support des Kundendienst in Kontakt sei. Das WhatsApp-Profil für uns sehr ungewõhnlich. Sowas ist uns als langjährige Kunden noch nie passiert. Die Bewertungen, an denen wir uns orientiert haben, stimmen mit dem aktuellen Zustand absolut nicht überein. Eventuell gab es zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch einen anderen Besitzer des Hauses, bei dem alles gepflegt wurde. In diesem Ort werden etliche Unterkünfte zum Spottpreis verkauft. Beweisbilder lassen sich leider nicht hinzufügen, würde ich aber unbedingt gern, weil es wirklich beachtlich war. Reinigung vermutlich vom Ausland aus an ein Dienstleistungs-Unternehmen übegeben, das seine Arbeit schlecht oder gar nicht macht.

The location is very nice, just in a couple of minutes walk from the sea, plenty of restaurants and shops in a walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, there are chairs outside. Whilst we didn't see any staff, the host was very helpful when we had an issue to resolve.

The beds are not comfortable and generally the bedrooms have very little space by the bed.

Great place, very comfortable for the four of us. The host was kind and helpful. The house was clean, cosy, quiet and well equipped, we loved the two sups. The lovely sandy beach was very close and elegant, the sea was pleasant and rather warm in July, though not clear for snorkeling. Our sons were splashing in the water all day, we could relax in comfortable sunbeds. (20-30 euros per day) Shops, bakeries, restaurants are all just a few minutes away. There were not many foreigners, we enjoyed picking up some Italian language to get by. Fabulous historic sights are nearby, we visited Ravenna and Pomposa. We also visited Venice, but the journey there was a bit long.

Everything was superb, I only missed the microwave oven a little as I like to drink my coffee with a lot of hot milk... :-)

The accommodation is great. The house is clean and tidy. The equipment in the kitchen is good for cooking. The house is only a few steps to the beach. There are great excursion destinations in the vicinity. A great place to be!!! Thanks again to the landlord who is an excellent host!
