Hotel Ramayana Khajuraho

Good location a short walk into town. Very friendly host, and a small hotel feel. Rooms were good. We felt well looked after. We used the bikes to go down he southern temples which was good fun.

There is some WiFi (not advertised) but it’s not very reliable.

Hot water was OK. Excellent location. Clean sheets and towels.

Personnel was tragedy. They promised to send a taxi to take us from the airport, but noone from the hotel showed up. On the way back to the airport they wanted 500 for the transfer when the official price was 350. Old man from the hotel was a real crook.

The staff were nearly friendly. They had options and solutions for every event or problem. They did not push you to expensive pay services, always trying to generate maximum value. Room was bright and comfortable. Class leading quality, no complaints. Did not try the restaurant but it smelled good. They had some bikes for guests to ride which was a great way to see the eastern temples. Location is close but far enough away to avoid most of the town/street noise.

Sometime in the compound was incinerating trash early in the morning, filling the hotel with a foul pollution smell.

Food in this hotel tastes good. They are expensive but good. They have a garden & rooftop restaurant. Some rooms have personal balcony & some have common balcony.Hotel was clean. AC and hot water was available.

Location isn't good at all. No shop nearby. You have to walk 1 km every time if you want to buy something. Western group of temples are more than 1 km away. They have no generator. When electricity gone we have to keep mobile torch on for 15 minutes.

Staff was super nice and kind and welcoming.

Room and facilities respect the price.

This place is a guest house, not a hotel. They provide very limited service and hospitality. The “lobby” was quite seedy with all these men always hanging around. Overall, the place has no pleasant vibes. Staff was disorganized and not particularly welcoming. They seemed to be caring only about getting extra money in all possible ways (trying to upsell room upgrades, tours, overpriced airport transfer, extra charge for heaters so I’m not sure they would also charge extra if you have to use AC in summer?). Bathroom was quite shabby. Even if the property is relatively new, it looks neglected.

Location is very convenient, all major sights within walking distance.

This property is clean and comfortable. Location is great near major attractions and local shops. The roof top Resturant is amazing, they make healthy and best food in khajuraho on demand, open all day. This hotel also offers various sightseeing plans, taxi at a very reasonable rate. Laundry services were great as well. Hotel staff was very caring and took care of all our requirements.

Everything was good.
