Perfectly located in Taormina, with easy access by foot to all of the main attractions and a view of the ocean from the window. The apartment was cute and the host had great attention to detail (providing ear plugs, toiletries, light snacks, a music speaker loaded with songs to fit the location, etc). Despite the central location, we didn't find it too noisy. Great value for money in Taormina and we wish we stayed longer!

Everything was very clean, and the location was incredible. The host thinks of every detail, leaving a breakfast prepared for the first day, a welcome drink, among other thoughtful touches.

The only downside of the accommodation is the noise, as it’s located in the city center. There are always people passing by, cars, and general street noise — but that’s to be expected given the central location.

Omg I got destroyed by mosquitoes here the 1st night i stayed, could really do with some netting to stop them coming in the bathroom window The mattress on the bed really needs replacing, caused me worst backache I've had in years

Location excellent but noisy. Quirky decoration. Limited space for storing clothes. only a few drawers available and some were alreay full with items of host. Bed not that comfortable. Original communication was to a mobile phone that was lost 5 deays before arrival. Host was able to facilitate communication to other member of party. A lot of welcoming snacks were available in various places. Some basic for breakfast were left the fridge but there were inconsistencies. The were some herbal teas but no standard tea. Cooking facilities were provided including butter but no frypan. Tourmina is a must visit destination. It takes time to discover all it offers The walking is steep and parking either difficult or costly.

I loved it here so much! Very convenient location in the heart of it all! The view from the living room was my favorite especially at night because the city below sparkled like little stars scattered on the ground! I also loved the covered porch area because i'd sit there sometimes and can hear the birds or Italian band singing in the evening. The house is very clean and has everything you need including bath necessities, hair dryer, a fridge with welcome water and snacks on table. There's eye mask for sleeping and ear plugs as well but I didn't need them. The house is quiet in night hours. The host was very kind and quick to answer any questions. There is also transportation services offered. I was taken to the airport in plenty of time and the price was great compared to other transportation services in the area. I recommend staying here and would love to again in the future!

Casa Lyssa is the most beautiful little apartment in the heart of Taormina. Spotlessly clean, with everything you need for a perfect holiday. It has a spectacular sea view and a cute little porch. We often sat in the evening, after dinner, enjoying a glass of wine, watching the world go by. There is a wonderful spa bath, so you can relax in the evening. The host left many little treats for us to enjoy, which added that special touch. There are lovely little wine bars, shops and restaurants on your doorstep. There is also a hotel across the road, which is a great pick up point for excursions. Directly in front of that there is a terraced restaurant, where you can take in the breathtaking views of Mount Etna and the sea. I would recommend booking a transfer through the host. An absolute gentleman, called Silvio, took us both ways and was very reasonable at 65 euros each way. I can’t honestly say enough good things about the whole experience. We can’t wait to return next year. Thank you so much ❤️

Nothing at all

Everything was excellent. The accommodation is comfortable and clean, with a view of one of the liveliest streets in Catania from the balcony. The main square is just around the corner. All in all, we are extremely satisfied.
