Nothing to write home about as the host has no idea on how to respect a persons dignity because we wanted a home away from home experience. I will never use or recommend the place to anyone

The host had a guest in the self catering apartment that was advertised which I Booked online. On arrival he blamed bookings,com for double booking and gave me keys to a 3 x 3 room with no facilities to cook or make coffee and stated that the apartment will be available the next day. Also he gave me a cash refund of R300. The entrance gate has to be opened manually with a key (no remote access) My whole experience was a nightmare. It will be appreciated if these properties are inspected by Bookings.com. I also asked for a fan as it was hot and was never delivered. It seems the owner only cares about money and not the guests comfort. I stayed the first night and abandoned the second night. My experience was a nightmare. Also the unit is near a power station and the noise keeps you awake.
