Warme bedden die lekker liggen, fantastisch uitzicht. Lekker ontbijt. Noorderlicht!

In de regen stukje lopen naar toilet is wat minder. Je moet je spullen 5 minuten naar de yurt sjouwen vanaf de auto. Moesten nog houthakken voor kachel, maar dat heeft ook wel weer zijn charmes. Uitvinden hoe de kachel werkte duurde even, maar wel gelukt.

Honestly, I had one of the best sleeps of my life in this yurt! It was so quiet and peaceful to be surrounded by nature. The bed was so comfortable and it was really cool to fall asleep to the sound of a crackling fire:) Then to awake to a gorgeous & sunny day with stunning views of the surrounding mountains?? A rustic dream! I also enjoyed building the fire inside the stove. It takes a bit of time for the yurt to warm up after you start the fire so keep that in mind when you’re planning your arrival time. Chatted with one of the staff who was very pleasant and friendly!

Bit of a hike up to the yurts but nothing someone who is relatively active can’t handle! I’d recommend consolidating your stuff to one bag so you aren’t carrying heavy luggage up the hill. No showers but they offer free access to the showers at the local pool.

Unique yurt accommodations. The owners/hosts were gracious and accommodating. Even texting to let us know northern lights were visible. Highly recommend!!!

Nothing. Even the rural setting up on a grassy knoll was PERFECT!!

Wir mussten diesen Quartier auf unserer Islandrundreise buchen, weil mehr als außergewöhnlich - würde man auf dieser Insel im hohen Norden nicht vermuten. Sauber, komfortabel mit tollem Blick auf Akureyri. Sehr bemühter und freundlicher Gastgeber

Das Frühstück war für vier Erwachsene etwas knapp bemessen, aber ausreichend. Der Weg zur Dusche war etwas weit, da etwas 15 min mit dem Auto, wenn auch kein Eintritt in die öffentliche "Freibadanlage" zu zahlen war.
