Malgré les indications d’une salle de bain commune lors de notre réservation, il n’y avait que deux toilettes et un lavabo...Pas de douche...Dommage... mais cela n’empêche pas que le lieu soit top !

The location and the resulting silence was great! Dried firewood for the stove in the yurt was appreciated. The breakfast was also good.

Not enough cutlery (1 fork and 3 knives for a booking for 4 persons). The BBQ (and the utensils) needed SERIOUS cleaning, but it really should be replaced and levelled when it's installed so less time is spent chasing sausages rolling downhill to the back of the grille. The listening mentioned board games and playing cards, which would have been nice to keep us busy due to the rain... The one dice game that was in the room didn't keep us busy for very long.

Pas assez de vaisselle (petites tasses et petits bols), pas de casserole pour chauffer le lait le matin,la glacière dans laquelle nous attend le petit dej du lendemain matin n'est pas électrique : pas de frigo (commun) non plus dans la cabine qui fait WC et lavabo

Hasta localizar el sitio tuvimos que dar alguna vuelta, incluso con GPS, pues está pintado en un banco de madera viejo que es difícil ver desde la carretera, pese a estar al lado del contenedor que indican. El poco aparcamiento que hay es insuficiente y muy próximo a la carretera. El acceso no es un camino, es un barrizal. Las yurtas están lejos del lugar donde puedes aparcar, andando no son los 5 minutos que indican. Te informan que hagas una pequeña mochila para pasar la noche y que si les avisas pueden ayudarte pero lo cierto es que no pudimos llegar, pues íbamos con mi madre que tiene más de 70 años y no se parece a lo que indican en la descripción, no se corresponde con la realidad, no lo hubiéramos reservado si hubiéramos tenido toda la información de antemano y no posteriormente por un mensaje o al llegar allí. Por la zona hay más alojamientos y en todos hay caminos que llegan cerca de los sitios de hospedaje. No puedo valorar las yurtas porque no llegamos a conocerlas, pero si puedo valorar que pese a no utilizarla y solicitar anular la reserva (cuando había otra más disponible ya que salió como opción al tener que buscar alojamiento alternativo) nos contestaron que habíamos llegado hasta el parking y que otros huéspedes nos habían visto, hasta la fecha no tenemos el reembolso ni respuesta al ultimo mensaje.

Loved the location. And the traditional style of the yurt. Wood stove was great, as was breakfast, fantastic!

Didn’t see the Iceland Yurt sign with cars parked in front. Maybe to have it more visible. Google maps directed us to the grassy lane at the bottom instead. Once we read the latest email, we figured out the entrance was by the green container.

The location was beautiful and the yurt was super cool. Enjoyed spending the time at local pool for a shower, soak, and shower the next morning.

Not really dislikes, but the hiking treck uphill was a bit long. When I booked 2-3 months ago, I didn't realize it would be a mini hike without a well-worn trail. One son and I transferred what we needed from our suitcases and to our backpacks, but the other two kids decided to drag their luggage. Perhaps parking could be made available at the place next door for a shorter treck. Totally get not wanting cars by the yurts, though; that would be distracting both by sight and sound and would take away from the beauty. Also recommend having some local pool instructions. I was embarrassed when I realized I walked into the shower room with my shoes still on, and we did not know to put towels in the cubbies so we wouldn't walk into the locker area wet after our soaks. Then, we did not know what to do with the towels after, which was take them back to the yurt parking location. We would have used the towels we brought with us if we had realized that we would need to double back to the yurt instead of driving straight into town.
