"Exceptional stay in Cape Dutch Architecture"

Beautiful historic building with extremely high ceilings, which keeps the inside nice and cool in the hot Karoo summer. The host was very welcoming and helpful with suggestions on what to see and where to eat and pretty much anything you want to go to, was within short walking distance.

Beautiful and charming

A bit noisy in the house especially when people depart at 05:00 am and we only check out later. I forgot to mention to Peter that the aircon was broken. After about 5-10 min of being on, the aircon made terrible clicking noises. We had to switch ir on and off during the whole night.

Having the pool to cool off in was great. It's location is perfect, close to shops & restaurants & easy drive to the Valley of Desolation. Dinner was even booked on our behalf at a local restaurant!

That we didn't find this spot sooner!
