Paulay Private Apartment

I appreciated that there was parking available, and it was underground, which made it convenient and secure to leave the car without any worries. The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable for the five of us. The price was also reasonable and fair.

The self check-in process was a bit complicated. I think it could be improved by simplifying the instructions—there were too many long messages, and shorter, clearer guidance would have been more helpful. The building had a reception, but since the apartment is privately owned, the reception only opened the garage door and didn’t offer any help or information. When I asked for assistance to contact the host because I couldn't find the keys, they refused to call and said they don’t work with this apartment. Also, there was no shampoo provided for washing hair, which I believe should be a basic amenity in every apartment. A suggestion for improvement: In the second bedroom, there was a bed meant for two people. I slept there with my sister, and when she got up, the bed tilted toward my side and almost collapsed under me. It seems the bed is not properly balanced, so I suggest placing something under the side that's against the wall to make it more stable and safe.

The location is fantastic—surrounded by great restaurants, lovely cafes and conveniently situated on the hop-on hop-off tourist bus route, making sightseeing incredibly easy. The apartment is spacious, in a well-maintained building with 24 hour reception. The accommodation comes with on-site parking, which was a major convenience during our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, but we did notice a couple of small things that could be improved. For example, we arrived late in the evening, and it would have been helpful to have a few basic consumables available—such as filters for the coffee machine, some coffee or some instant coffee. Additionally, the bed in the smaller bedroom felt like you could easily roll off which made it slightly uncomfortable to sleep in.

It was not very clean. Ther was hair on the toulet and medicine under the sofa.

The location was great and the free parking was a bonus.

Beds were very uncomfortable and squeaky, thin blankets . Poor quality of furniture and equipment, such as towels, stained, cheap curtains which doesn’t even cover the windows for black out. The place was dusty around the corners, dishwasher was already full, the toilet wasn’t clean. Communication was slow, getting pushy messages about leaving the apartment by 10am . Also late occupancy allowed (4pm) certainly the time not spent on cleaning!
