Dar Cristina

The host Cristina kindly met us at the property even though our arrival was very late. The Dar is beautiful and all enclosed in Houch style, you have the whole place to yourself with magnificent views from the roof terrace towards the sea. The interior design of the rooms is beautiful and plenty of comfortable seating areas with sofas and chairs nestled around the pool. The pool was fantastic and we jumped in even on the first night. Breakfast is included and was lovingly prepared by a lovely lady every morning at a time which suited our needs. The location is secluded which we loved and it is a short drive to Houmt Souk for meals and shopping in the Medina. Find Dar Cristina on maps as 'Menzel Kiki'.

The rubbish and litter problem on Djerba is spreading too close to beautiful residences like this. Very poor infrastructure on the island.

The owner is very professional. Communication was great, and she helpful with reservations and tips for the area.

The property is situated right next to a garbage dump area. The smell from the dumpster nextdoor was becoming unbearable during our stay. The kitchen also had a bad smell on its own, and the bathrooms smelled like sewage. As a result, we couldn't enjoy the premises, even bringing a croissant would attract hundreds of flies. The property is also not very well kept. The sheets were old, the beds were caved in, and I was surprised why they were not updated, it would have costed a fraction of a daily rate to make a stay little more bearable given the overbearing odor / fly situation.

Everything was great: nice view to the beach from the rooftop, safe and clean, and nice pool and very spacious.

La maison est superbe et très bien située, en bord de mer en toute tranquilité tout en étant à moins de 5 minutes en taxi de la ville (les taxis sont en plus très peu chers). L'accueil est soigné et attentionné. Merci pour tout !

Très belle maison, calme et très bien équipée. La propriétaire nous a attendu malgré noté arrivée tardive . Nous n'avons pas beaucoup profité car ́nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit mais cela nous aurait plus ! Merci encore pour l'accueil
