Abian Selumbung Bungalow

The location is really nice. The room was spacious and clean but basic. The property is 30 min walk from Gamat Bay which offers amazing snorkeling. You can also eat at the neighboring Maua resort for a fine dining experience otherwise there are not many eating options close by and you’ll need to have a scooter (which can be rented at the property - not top quality though)

The bathroom would need some fixing. Tiles were missing from the sink, toilet sit was wobbly. No big things but would make a difference. The room lack storage options to unpack the bags. They only provide a desk and a chair. Despite having lights on the path to the bungalows, the last meters were never switched on making the walk tricky without a lamp.

Wayan, the host, was very kind and helpful, making sure we had what we needed. The sunset view from the property was beautiful, and the location was convenient for exploring the island. The Wi-Fi in our room (the last one in the row) didn’t work, but it wasn’t a big issue for us. The road to the property isn’t great, but that’s common all over the island. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good value for money.

One suggestion would be to provide something for clothes storage. It doesn’t have to be a closet, but at least some hangers or a simple rack would be nice.

Property has a nice front view. Owner is helpful and ask to get tours, ferry tickets and transfer to ports. But he doesn't offer the best price

Wifi doesn't work inside rooms at all. Breakfast is very simple and not filling. But it was the case almost everywhere in bali area

AMAZING! We stayed here for 3 nights and it was just perfect. Everything was nice and clean and it is exactly like on the pictures. Host was really welcoming and he even helped us book manta trip amd gave us good recommendations about our further trip. Location is just perfect in quite place with see-view. Also breakfasts were really good.

The host was amazing, one of the few people we met in this country that was really worrying about our comfort and really helping with activities without trying to scam us. We slept very well and the bungalows are located near the Gamat Bay and the famous Amok Sunset. Big plus : we had the chance to swim with Mantas with the company he arranged us the snorkeling tour. We recommend 100%
