- unbeatable location for tracks to King Kong Hill and Mount Bromo crater - clean room and bathroom - decent blankets

- room was pretty cold at night, insulation was lacking - bathroom facilities weren’t perfect, only cold water - we booked a shared taxi (4 people) to Probbolingo via the accommodation which turned out to be a bus (12 people, no leg room) that took about double the amount of time it should have taken to get to the station, picking up people for an hour around Cemoro Lawang and randomly stopping along the way - If you are looking for quick and comfortable transportation I would recommend spending a little extra on a private car

Good localisation. Good size room. The staff is helpful, we had no hot water but we called them and they came to fix it. They probably changed the gas bottle or something.

Bathroom doesn’t look like it’s been clean. The room wasn’t super clean neither. The duvet is too light so it’s a bit cold at night. With that price you basically just pay the localisation, price to high for what it is. But it’s ok for one night, it’s very cold so it’s important to have hot water in the shower.

Perfectly located, the room was perfect for spending one night in Cemorolawang. It was clean, quiet, with hot water and we were not cold when we stayed there (early October) but slept with long pants and sweater. It's a great value for money and the host were ready to help us with transportation and everything we needed. Thank you!

Just to inform other travelers, we are backpacking 2 months in Indonesia and are used to Indonesian standards. We read so many bad reviews about accommodations in Cemorolawang that our expectations were quite low, but this place was just what we needed and we would recommend it.

Perfect location for tours of Mount Bromo (especially DIY tours). The staff is helpful in case you need to book pick up service, transport, tours, also on short notice. Room is aligned to expectation, with a big size, comfortable double bed, and bathroom with warm water (it's a simple guesthouse in a base camp village of a volcano, do not expect a fancy Bali resort).

Just some minor things: Some stains on window curtains and room walls, plus water leaks in bathroom if water pump is not turned off after use (which they also showed us how to do, easily with a switch in the room). It would be nice if the staff could give more information on the DIY option to visit Mt. Bromo, which is very easy to do (in the whole area there is unfortunately a strong pressure to book a jeep tour for it).
