Terramaya Boutique Hotel

I had a very comfortable stay here for two nights. The staff were lovely and the hosts exceptionally responsive and helpful with information and helping me to arrange onward travel. Delicious breakfast. Close to the Copan ruins as well as the lovely central square of the town. It was great to get back to my room after a long day at the archaeological site.

Breakfast included was delicious with homemade bread, jelly, salsas, and fresh juice. The 1 hour massage was excellent, highly recommend! Great location! Visit Macaw Mountain- bird sanctuary

Next door is construction so between hours of 7am-4pm you can hear it.

Terramaya was our base while viewing Copan ruins and the surrounding area and it was one of the best hotels of our holiday. Rooms are very traditional but extremely comfortable and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Lots of space in the room and we had a large balcony overlooking the garden and valley. Well equipped with tv, safe, daily filtered water, great shower and nice fluffy towels. Breakfast the best of our trip with fresh fruit, and choice of eggs or pancakes, juice, bread, and coffee. Helpful reception who sorted out a good deal for onward transportation.

It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it’s location five minutes down a steep hill from the central square requires a reasonable degree of fitness. However, we were very happy with the location on a quiet street.

Had everything we needed to be comfortable. Nice views and big balcony. Excellent breakfast.

Lots of city noises, but that can’t be helped by the hotel.

The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast is wonderful. In 6 weeks of travel, this is my favorite accommodation by far!
