sneaky peaks

We really enjoyed our stay at sneaky peaks. The owners and staff were all incredibly friendly and catered to whatever we needed. They provided fantastic shuttle service to nearby mountains and even food options. We had a good sized room with good heating and the common area seemed to always have some life happening in there at nights so it was good to chat to the other guests about what they got up to. It sort of had a relaxed hostel vibe to the place. The breakfast was a welcome addition that was simple and got us going for the day. For their first season they have done well and I'm excited to see what they change up and renovate for next season.

Well kept rooms and common areas, short walk to Goryu resort and even shorter walk to the Kamishiro station.

The staff were the standout, they made everything so easy! Went above and beyond many times. Honestly this is the kind of service most othet places should strive for. Will 100% return next time I come to Hakuba.

Onsen baths running would be nice, but thats a minor issue.

Absolutely phenomenal customer service. Jen, Matt, and the whole Sneaky Peaks staff made us feel at home with their hospitality. Everyone was so knowledgeable of all things Hakuba, skiing, and Japan in general. The location was incredible, tucked away on a quiet street but walkable to local food option or the 7Eleven convenience store. The complimentary breakfast, free shuttle service, and great company made this stay so memorable and one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had.

Cute cosy place, great vibe with the owners/staff friendly and happy to go out of their way to help. Place was clean and warm, blockout curtains and lights in bunks, would recommend.

A small kitchen/food prep area and sink would be great

The staff has great hospitality. This is their first season, so there may be a few minor shortcomings. However, if you let Jen or Azra know, they’ll do their best to fix it, as they really try to make your stay a 10/10 experience. It was my first time staying in a hotel with a shared bathroom (I missed that detail during booking), but the facilities were very clean, and I would definitely stay again.

The room and the bathroom is clean and cozy! Hosts are so sweet and kind :) and there’re shuttle bus for guests to go to the ski resort and the pick-up service from the station! Can’t wait to go there again

Had an amazing stay at Sneaky Peaks. It's very homely, and the staff were amazing. It had all the facilities we needed for our stay, and the room was really cosy. The location is great as it is very close to Goryu, which makes getting to and from the mountain very easy. (Even easier with the help of their shuttles) There are also multiple bars and restaurants close by. The staff were incredibly helpful and made our trip a breeze. They provided transportation services, gave us general info about the area, as well as recommendations, and answered any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!
