It was on the ground floor.

Washing machine had no instructions.

Place was well equipped and contact person was highly responsible - we have enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be able to get back to this place at some point in the future.

Too far from the centre

The second bedroom was being used as a store room with a pull down bed. No wardrobe side table with lamp, the only cupboard had a hoover,iron and other household equipment. I was under the impression there were fully equipped bedrooms. We stayed Wednesday night and Thursday night and moved to an hotel in the town so we could have a bedroom each! It cost €1.800 extra. I tried speaking with the owners but they were not prepared to help in any way.

Great place with great appliances. Clean and well equipped. Perfect summer vibe. Good communication and friendliness.

To reach the beach you do need a car, but it's easy to reach and didn't have any problems parking nearby

The town of Alvor is very nice quiet but nice restaurants good access to beaches about 15 minutes i. each direction to get to lots of different beautiful beaches. There are plenty of supermarkets in the locality. Overall cannot really fault and away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger towns. The rental itself is it a nice Apartment block that feels very much like your own little cottage. The little village around the apartment is really green and lush. You also have the facilities of the nearby club Brisamar hotel so you have the best of both worlds both your own little place where you can cook and chill out and also nearby hotel with pool and food if you need it. Our little family of five kept well with the grown-ups on the sofa bed and the kids in their beds in the bedroom. I want to say thank you to the owners for making the apartment clean very welcoming fully stocked with all that we needed and being helpful and being sympathetic. The value for money is excellent and you really cannot go wrong with this place. Just a quick note on the pool you need to go to club Brisamar reception to get a day ticket each day you want to use the pool it is about €7 for a grown-up and three for kids under 10. The pool is a pleasant five minute walk through the apartment complex. There is plenty of parking also which is free if you hire a car.

Sometimes the neighbours can be a little loud at night and there was a small problem with ants when we first arrived but the owners were very helpful and sympathetic. They provided us with some spray straightaway and we got rid of that problem and it never happened again. As for the occasional noise from upstairs the air-conditioning unit was quite nice in the gentle sound of it drowned out any noise from elsewhere so in the end we were fine. Finding the place initially is a little tricky but the owners give you a nice map. I would recommend just setting your satnav for club Brisamar hotel Alvor and once you are there finding the right apartment block and finding the apartment which is anticlockwise all the way round the back space towards the far end of the apartment blocks on the corner on the ground opposite some lovely lime trees.
