Cabana Gotan was much more than just accommodation for us – it felt like home. We stayed in the little cabin and had a wonderful experience. The grandparents welcomed us with kindness and even let us pick and enjoy fresh blackberries and blueberries. From the yard, we had a clear view of Pietrosu Peak and could spot so many birds – nuthatches, tits, redstarts, storks, and more. Grandma cooked for us using natural products from their garden, and the taste was simply unforgettable. We truly can’t wait to return!

A Peaceful Escape at Cabana Gotham From the moment we arrived at Cabana Gotham, we knew we’d found a special place. It’s spotlessly clean, wonderfully quiet, and the beds are so comfortable you can’t help but sleep well. There’s always plenty of hot water, and cooking is easy with the shared fridge and kitchen facilities. Parking right on the property makes it even more convenient. Just 30 meters away, there’s a little shop where you can pick up food and drinks — perfect for a relaxed evening in. But the real charm came from the hosts, who welcomed us with the warmest smiles, a glass of homemade berry palinka, and fresh berries straight from their garden. If you’re up for a walk, an hour’s stroll will take you to a monastery complex that’s open 24/7 — a unique experience to have during your stay. It’s one of those places that feels homely and welcome, and for the price, it’s an absolute gem.
