To be clear, we did not hate our stay here but we also didn’t love it either. The other reviews (except one from a German reviewer) seemed to us like they were describing a completely different experience and one we did not recognise during our stay. We did like: - not too far from Alghero centre (but does take time to get there and you definitely need a car) - quiet and pleasant garden surroundings - room and bathroom were clean - Nespresso machine and pods in room - good a/c in room

- The whole place felt a bit tired and the hosts were basically absent for our whole stay - The garden and building access areas are completely overrun by stray cats. As in, we had to step over them to get in and out of the building. - Our room was in a basement, so not ideal for a sunny destination for a holiday. - The room was quite noisy from the doors and thin walls - To be honest, not the most friendly of check-in experiences but this may have been a bad day. - Absolutely nowhere near the standard of other places we stayed on this trip to Sardinia for similar money per night. - We found that we were driving for a long time to get to anywhere we actually wanted to visit

Location, spacious, pool, clean

Room below ground level with small window made it claustrophobic. Limited breakfast offered and too much dog barking at night.
