Een ideale plek voor een bezoek aan Weligama. Het verblijf is een een rustige omgeving met alles dicht bij. Je wordt super goed verzorgd!

Er is geen ontbijt bij ingegrepen, wel wordt dat alle dagen voor je gemaakt. Hier moet je na de tijd nog wel extra voor betalen… Het ontbijt is overigens prima!!

Nirmala is so sweet, I even call her my Sri Lankan mother;) The homestay is in a nice neighbourhood, very close to the beach (30 seconds walk), close to the shops and restaurants. I took the room without ac, but it was still very good and not crazy hot. The shower is really good, good pressure, not warm but that is not needed with the tropical weather! As a solo female traveler I felt very save here, Nirmala really takes care of you🌞 overall lovely place, will definetely come back again🤗

Die Host Frau ist sehr liebevoll, lustig und schnell aktiv, wenn etwas fehlt. Außerdem ist sie immer zum Plaudern bereit. Die gesamte Familie ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat mir meinen Aufenthalt dort angenehm gestaltet! Internet hat super funktioniert. Die Lage ist fantastisch, 2 Gehminuten zum Strand, viele Cafés und Restaurants in direkter Nähe und 5-10 Minuten in die Stadt zum Shoppen.

Die Räume mit AC und warmen Wasser sind fast doppelt so teuer, aber lohnt sich, wenn das warme Wasser verlässlich funktioniert (wechselt immer zwischen warm und kalt). Die Unterkunft ist frei zugänglich ohne Tor, sodass keine große Sicherheit vor ungewolltem Besuch besteht, aber draußen wird alles mit CCTV überwacht.

The property is in a great location for the beach and nearby restaurants. The lady who owns it is very nice and very helpful. The shower, although not warm, was very good.

We chose the cheapest room which was really too small for two people. If the table and chair were removed there would be enough room for two people to move around. I’d say it’s only suitable for a single occupier as the bed is also a small double. Bigger rooms are available. There was also only one socket available unless you have round 3 pin sockets, which we didn’t have.
