Makuta Villa

Beautiful place, short distance to the sea and turtle points. New and clean accomodation with a nice pool. Amazing support by guys from accomodation especially Adi and Onie. They really helped us with everything what we needed. If you want a calm and smooth vacation this is a right place!

Nice new building. Wood and high ceiling in the room gives a nice athmosphere. Outside is a common kitchen and big wooden table. Friendly and helpful staff. Organise all what is needed. 200m to the beach. Excellent for snorkeling. Good value for money. Restaurants close by. Area i quiter than most areas in Gili T. Good Yoga around the corner.

Fantastic holiday, thanks to the great staff at Makuta villa. Mr.ADI was amazing, helped us arrange scooter, boat tickets, just whatever was needed. Mr.ONI was very kind, even brought fruit from his own garden and makes the best ginger tea. Love the place, big pool, privacy.. love to visit it in the future again!

Short distance to the sea, personal is really nice and proactive. Interior is minimalistic but functional. Dryer is movable so you can put it to the sun. Enjoyed our time in the pool. Good deal for the price!

Walls are not quite soundproof, you can hear people from other rooms talking/watching videos..

We booked to stay at Makuta for a night with my family. We like it because it’s a brand new building, very nice, clean, and friendly environment. The building is consisted of 4 rooms, since we book 3 rooms and the the other room is empty, the whole place is like a private villa for us. We loved it so much, the staffs are very nice and friendly. The bed is comfortable. Makuta Villa located close to the beach and turtle points for snorkeling. Everything is good for us. Thank you for an excellent service.

If you are someone who is respectful and looking for a peaceful and authentic experience in Gilli then this is the place for you! However If you are looking for more of a social / party scene then head down to sunset beach or anywhere near the harbour as it will be better suited for you! :) The villa is located in a quiet and local area of Gilli T so you can expect to see off road tracks with options of local restaurants near by. It’s important to note that this villa Is quite a bit away from the party side / main stretch so it’s perfect for relaxing and snorkelling with a small beach round the corner! A big Thankyou to Onnie and Adi who are the most friendly and hard working staff we’ve met since being in Indonesia. They made us feel so welcome and really made our time here special. They were super helpful with recommendations around the island and anything we needed. We hope to come back soon!

The property was amazing, clean, affordable and cosy. The staff were brilliant and friendly couldn’t recommend this place enough. Although it’s out of the way from the main side of the island it’s definitely the place to stay minutes from turtle beach and still a short bike ride from all the action!

It was the perfect getaway for us. The villas are lovely, although far away from the center the peaceful surrounding made the stay enjoyable, the turtle snorkeling point and beach are walking distance away. We really enjoyed our stay. Will be back as soon as we can!
