Valérie nous a choyés ! Un petit déjeuner différent chaque jour et délicieux. Nous vous conseillons de prendre les repas du soir qui sont également excellents. Vue panoramique sur la baie depuis le lit et la terrasse. Valerie aime accueillir et communiquer. On se sent reçus comme des amis.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette pension. Tout était réuni pour réussir nos vacances : accueil chaleureux, logement conforme à l’annonce, vue exceptionnelle. Petits déjeuners différents chaque matinée, bons conseils de Valérie pour les visites, etc....

We love our stay at Chez Alizhia with magnificent million dollar view from our room! Excellent breakfasts with variety, clean and nicely decorated apartment with comfortable amenities - what else can you wish for the stay! And the best part was our host Valerie, very friendly and helpful with everything, true hospitality in its essence.

The accomodation is well thought out - the bedroom is 'enclosed' with good air conditioning and opens onto the terrace area, with small garden, which affords stunning views over the bay of Taioha'e. The separate shower and toilet/washbasin rooms are also 'enclosed' and are spacious, cleaning equipment is provided. The rest of the accomodation is 'open' to the front and rear (with ceiling and side walls) thus providing a cooling flow through, and comprises: a spacious kitchen with plenty of crockery, utensils and equipment, plus a full size fridge/freezer; a comfortable seating area; and additional dining area. The location is peaceful and quiet, meaning we slept very well. It's a 15 minute walk to the nearest grocery store (there are 3 or 4 in Taioha'e) and a 30 minute walk to the Tourist Information/Cultural Centre in the port area; there's a number of restaurants/cafes within walking distance too. 200 metres from the accomodation is a concrete road where there's space to leave your rental vehicle, however if you hire a 4WD (or book a taxi) there's plenty of parking space at Chez Alizhia. What made our stay so special though is Valèrie and her kindness and attentiveness; she ensured we had everything we needed - we experienced a lot of rain during our stay and two umbrellas magically appeared one morning. At the start of our stay Valérie enquired about our breakfast preferences which we thought was very considerate. The support received from Valerie and her husband Jerome went far beyond our expectations, even offering us lifts into town etc before our hire car arrived.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. NOTE-  the route to the property is steep, and the last 200m is unpaved uneven track, therefore not suitable for those less mobile. That said, it's a lovely walk past lots of gardens (took me longer than 15 minutes as I kept stopping to admire all the different flowers) and is a good way to walk off some of the delicious breakfast.

L'accueil très chaleureux de la famille. Valérie et Jérôme ont tout fait pour que notre séjour soit très agréable et intéressant. Très réactive, efficace et pleine d'attentions Valérie a rendu le séjour exceptionnel. De beaux moments passés ensemble qui nous laisserons un souvenir particulier de cette île marquisienne. Bien sûr le logement était bien placé avec une vue exceptionnelle, cuisine bien équipée, aérée et chambre avec climatisation. Les excursions proposées par Valérie étaient parfaites. Ces petits déjeuners variés, fait maison étaient délicieux ! Nous sommes partis avec regret de Nuku Hiva. Nous recommandons à 200% !

Rien

Valérie est incroyable, tellement généreuse et attentionnée, aux petits soins pour les personnes qu’elle accueille. Ça a été une très belle rencontre. Le logement est confortable, très propre et bien équipé. Il est situé en hauteur avec une belle vue sur la baie. Le chemin pour y arriver depuis la mer est un peu rude sur la fin mais se fait très bien à pieds, même sans être sportif.

Valerie est une personne exceptionnelle, de l'accueil au départ, merci pour tout 🙏 La vue sur la baie est incroyable, les couleurs au couchers du soleil à couper le souffle, le petit déjeuner très bien bref tip top!!
