Mooie locatie

This flat is located in the center of Bergen and in a nice quiet neighbourhood. There is a living room with a kitchen and a separate bedroom with a large balcony. A separa WC is next to the bedroom. The beds are confortable and the sofa cama is ok. The kitchen is good, but misses some appliances.

Difficult to hang clothes and towels, as there is not a lot of places and it does not dry fast. There was a mat occupying much needed space in the wardrobe. The kitchen misses a microwave, which is understandably difficult to place, as the space is already limited. No light on the ceiling of the living room is also not conveniente, specially for the first time. The stairs and the whole interior seemed to be under repair, it was not clean and full of equipment and stuff, It could certainly be better.

Ik had geen goede ervaring. Eerst en vooral: toen we toekwamen, bleek het babybedje niet klaar te staan. Dit hadden we op voorhand aangevraagd. Toen ik belde, kwam er een jonge gast het bedje brengen. Hij leek totaal niet geïnteresseerd over het feit dat het appartement bijna overal schimmel had op de ramen. Ook was het bestek niet proper.. 'Hij ging het oplossen', zei hij. Ik heb, tenzij ik zelf stuurde, niks meer gehoord over een oplossing. Ik werd aan het lijntje gehouden. Het werd in de zomer erg warm waardoor ik apart heb geslapen op het veldbed in de living, mijn man en kind sliepen op één kamer. Om van de keuken naar het toilet te gaan, moet je via de slaapkamer.. ?! Niet handig. Ik vond vooral de schimmel en de hygiëne het ergste. Ik zou hier zeker niet opnieuw verblijven.

Cet appartement est probablement utilisé de façon très intensive : plaque de cuisson fendue, hôte ne fonctionne pas, les poubelles sont dégoûtantes (pas de sacs poubelles à l’intérieur), l’éponge je ne vous dis rien… le sol colle… Le ménage y est fait de façon très superficiel, l’entretien du bâtiment est totalement défaillant. L’entrée et les communs n’ont pas vus de serpillière et d’aspirateur depuis très longtemps. Il traine un tas de choses à tous les étages, à tous les étages à l’extérieur et dans les armoires (meuble sous la machine) : couette dégoûtante ! Du linge des précédents occupants est présent dans la machine à laver : un vrai festival !!? La terrasse nous n’avons même pas essayé ; LAMENTABLE pour le prix.

Le seul intérêt est la situation de cet appartement.

The location is excellent and central, perfect for a city trip, and the apartment fits the historic charm of the surrounding houses.

We had originally planned to stay three nights at the apartment in Bergen, but unfortunately left after the first night due to several issues. When we arrived around 7 p.m., the sofa bed was not made, and there was no bedding provided anywhere in the apartment. We immediately contacted the host, but unfortunately they only responded the next day, apologizing for the oversight. While we appreciate the host’s honesty, the lack of preparedness meant that our family of four had to sleep uncomfortably in one double bed, which was unacceptable. In addition, the stairwell and entrance area were very dirty, with someone else’s clothes, shoes, and socks lying around, giving a poor first impression and not feeling welcoming. However, it lacks curtains or blinds, so the rooms are bright even during the night, which further impacted our sleep. Overall, due to the lack of cleanliness, missing bedding, and poor communication, we decided to leave after the first night and book alternative accommodation.

The localization was good, the apartment quite spacious, meant for 4 people - I was travelling just with my son, so it was perfect. Very clean, a nice bathroom with hot water and clean towels. Cooking space rather small, but possible to use. Everything you need for a comfortable stay :)
