Sastro Place

La mejor estadía que tuve en mi recorrido por Asia. El lugar es céntrico a 1km de la calle malioboro, esta ubicado en un callejón, por lo cual, es tranquilo y sin ruidos. Las dependencias son cómodas, limpias y lindas. El personal es lo mejor, muy amable y dispuesto a solucionar problemas y atender a todas tus demandas.

Exceptional communication with host, very good breakfast, clean and spacious room, plunge pool great for cooling off, easy walking distance to Malioboro Street and shops. Nice staying in a kampung rather than on a busy street, felt very tranquil. Obviously there is the call to prayer but that's almost impossible to avoid in a city

Quiet peaceful place in the middle of a busy city. So nice to have breakfast included, brought right to your room. They even prepared a breakfast the night before when we had an early tour the next morning. Swimming was great in the hot weather.

Was a bit hard to find.

- Not their fault but the ants were so quick to appear in the first floor room I was staying in - I would've liked to meet the staff, they only ever texted me so it felt a bit lonely at times!

Street, little dificult to find first times

Very nice apartments in central Yogyakarta. Sastro Place is in walking distance of all the main attractions in the city, but the beauty of the stay is that it is down a quiet sidestreet, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The whole property is very clean, including the Jacuzzi, which is great for cooling off in the heat of the city. The best part - for me - was the breakfast, I loved waking up to porridge delivered to my door each morning. The staff do a fantastic job with the food and generally keep out of your way. They even let us store our bags in the store next door as we were taking a late train out of the city. Thanks so much to the Sastro team and their lovely children who greet you each day - Faas, Aza and Siquila!
