The host kindly helped us organise an airport transfer for the morning which we were very grateful for. The bathroom was fairly clean.

I never want to leave a bad review because I understand this is someone’s livelihood and a negative review can really affect that. However, I feel that I need to shed some light on what the conditions in this accommodation are really like so people don’t make the same mistake as us and book it. Obviously I never expected a 5* hotel here, I knew it would be a modest location to spend a night in before our flight. However I was shocked at the conditions inside. Overall the house is very very dirty. There are sticky, greasy marks on pretty much every cupboard door and top. There was a block of old Parmesan cheese in the freezer for starters and the cupboards were full of half finished food/bottles of alcohol clearly left from previous guests that the host thought would be a great idea to leave for next people. The air quality is particularly shocking, the house smells like the inside of a dusty hoover bag with a slight tinge of mould. My husband almost had an asthma attack inside. The air con units are fitted right above both beds which means that your only choice is to either sleep in extreme heat or have cold air blowing directly on your face or neck and shoulders. The passage light is broken and flickers like in some sort of horror movie set. The house has random Christmas decorations scattered around (baring in mind we visited in June). The pillow had an old blood stain on it and there were hairs under the sheet which put us off sleeping in the bed. There was a very thick layer of dust under the bed as well as on all the bedside drawers which also contained random paperwork and items. The dishes are not stored in a kitchen cupboard but on a dirty, rusty draining board and they are all dirty.

Excellent host nothing was too much trouble really helpful. Late check out / easy transfers from and to the airport. Steak restaurant next door was superb !

There were no clean sheets and there was mold on some of the walls. The apartment is relatively old and there are not a lot of restaurants nearby. We were offered a relatively high price for the driving service from the airport, without telling us that the prices for the uber during night are much cheaper - even though we’ve asked. Very expensive compared to other options in the area.
