The location was perfect and the terrace was beyond beautiful!

The second bedroom was very small as well as the kitchen.

Beautiful property in Taormina. Terrace is fabulous. The whole place is beautifully clean. Attention from owner in terms of directions, help whilst there was fantastic.

In order of dislikes Kitchen balcony door (easy to get on from the street level) would not shut let alone lock - we discovered this after our 2nd day and messaged the owner who said he would fix it but he didn’t during our stay. The bedroom doors had locks so we locked ourselves in every night and locked during the day when we were out which meant carrying the keys around with us. Awful disinfectant smell when we first entered the apartment it smelt like a public toilet this was proven as the public toilets at the bottom of the cable car smell exactly the same! It was nauseating and stayed all week the owner really needs to change this! Dark, not enough natural light in the bedrooms or kitchen Kitchen utensils poor quality Weird mismatch of furniture throughout the property Shower dirty around the base

Standout features are the location and the big terrace and balcony. Our taxi dropped us off right outside, then only a very few steps to get inside. It’s spacious, clean, and full of character (somewhat vintage, part of the charm). Two bathrooms are good, plus a functional kitchen and another outdoor kitchen upstairs on the terrace (along with the washing machine). Bedding is comfortable. There are great views, and it’s a perfect base for Taormina, pretty good value too. Lelio was also very proactive and helpful.

The location was amazing, being so central to all the main attractions at Taormina, but yet tucked away from the tourist madness of Corso Umberto. The apartment was very spacious and the facilities are top notch, with two massive Samsung Smart TVs, a mini oven/microwave combi (great for reheating leftover pizzas), Nespresso machine, kettle, washing machine (17min quick wash option too!), clothes drying rack, etc It's a family home that is rented out as a BnB while the owner isn't using it, so it's fully equipped! The two bathrooms also helped to speed up time when my husband and I were getting ready to head out! We loved the fully equipped rooftop deck (also with a fridge, sink, stove, washing machine, etc) and spent lots of time there, in full privacy away from the crowds. The apartment is just a stroll to get some delicious arancinis, cannolis, and gelato! We came back to the deck to relax and enjoy the gorgeous views while eating the treats. The rooftop deck was perfect for doing laundry and drying our clothes quickly under the sun! There is plenty of natural light and ventilation in the apartment as well. Good job to the owner for this new property listing, and we absolutely loved staying at your place. We will not hesitate to recommend and return to stay here again.

The master bedroom window is located right next to a main pedestrian stairway so you will get noise if you're an early and light sleeper. This was not an issue for us. Taormina is very hilly after all, and there is 1 set of stair to climb from the main street before you reach the main entrance door + another set from the main door to the living room ("ground floor" of the apartment). We navigated these with no issues, even with large 20kg 81cm luggages. You can't see Mt Etna from the rooftop deck. This was not an issue for us but just wanted to let others know.

The location just a few steps down to Corsa Umberto is close to perfect, the well-furnished roof terrace accessed by an external staircase offers a separate fridge and cooking facilities and amazing views across the rooftops and out to sea. The comfortable bed was most welcome after a day exploring. The garage directly below the property was really convenient and must be unusual so close to the town centre.

The kitchen is small so we chose to prepare meals upstairs on the spacious roof terrace while enjoying the view and you need to be a confident driver or to have a small car to reverse into the garage - we managed this without any problem. You should be comfortable with taking the stairs up to the property with your luggage.
