The wonderful location, the warmth and friendliness of the owner, Moses, who greeted us, the layout of the property and the way it allowed us to stay in complete peace, whilst enjoying the beauty of the surroundings and the stunningly dark night sky, with the hint of an aurora…

Breakfast goodies and other nibbles were very good. Location was great - basically on a private property, not far from town for supplies etc. good spot to tour Mt Cook in a day. Outside bath was great

Could have had a little more storage space for clothes and toiletries

Location was great, not that far out of town. Very quiet and peaceful. The hosts were lovely. The fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies that were personally delivered were delicious. There was not 1 detail that the hosts have left out of this accommodation. If we could give 6 stars out of 5 we would. Highly recommend this property to anyone that is looking for accommodation in Twizel. Photos attached were taken from near the hot tub in the backyard and 1 from out the front of the property.

There was nothing at all that we didn't like about our stay here.

I should like to give this apartment more than a 10 - it exceeded our expectations in every way. It was beautiful and large, with big windows on all sides (double-glazed) to see the wonderful views of snow-capped mountains. The apartment was super-clean, very modern, with very high-quality furnishings. The hosts thought of every little thing, all arranged meticulously, such as multiple teas, multiple coffee options, multiple jams etc. We were welcomed by a large hamper of eats, including chips, chocolates, cookies etc. Breakfast for 2 days was already in the kitchen and fridge. everything of high quality. It was very quiet, as it is about 8km outside of town, on the mountain side. There is an outside bath, which we unfortunately could not use due to a very strong wind. The location is great - about 45 minutes to Mount Cook. The hosts met us on our arrival, and were very friendly. A wonderful experience in all aspects!
