Sanso Tanaka

We like the house, traditional and beautifully arranged in Japanese style. The owners are kind and helpful. The rooms are spotless. The location is excellent.

It would be helpful to have a few plates and bowls available in the coffee/tea area.

Really nice location, with amazing view from the rooms of mount Yufu. The rooms are clean and spacious with tatami style. The hotel offers three private natural hot springs, that can be used by the guests.

Beautiful inn with wood floors. The hosts were attentive and the room & beds were comfortable. There is a small informal dining area with hot water and microwave. Complimentary washing machine to keep up with laundry. The three family onsen baths were wonderful, in particular the outside bath. The breakfast bento was filling and tasty; we ate it in the spacious traditional dining area. All in all. A wonderful stay.

The inn is away from the busy part of town (which is good), but a little ways from many restaurants (though the closest is about 5 minutes walk).
