1. The apartment was tiny. Very tiny. It didn't help that the kitchen was poorly equipped. We got a blender after our 2nd stay out of 3. 2. The apartment was near the road, so it was hard to get some good sleep. It's worse that there's mosquitoes all over. 3. There are no elevators, so we had to lug 4 baggage each down 2 flights of stairs. 4. The property told booking.com that I did not stay at the property, and I was charged a cancellation fee. This is dishonest as the property takes payments on arrival, and I paid via M-pesa. I suspect this is a plot to avoid paying commission to booking.com 5. I saw a worn thong(yes, literal underwear) by my window on the second day. I have attached photos. Makes me question the overall sanitary conditions of the place.

I like that it is a gated community, and it is safe , everyone that comes in has to go through the security checkpoint.

The place isn't as clean, and the bathroom needs renovation. When i opened the master bedroom, the bathroom floor, I found some Crockhes crawling, I think, because the bathroom window is open. There's also no blanket provided. I was only given 1 towel to wash. While we were staying there, we had some light issues a couple of times, we didn't have a light or internet and the apartment is by the freeway so you will hear a lot of noises. Honestly, for me, I will not come back, but for some people on the budget, this might be good but not for me. The pictures on the internet look nice and clean, but not when i got there.

The house was clean, beautiful, and well maintained. It had everything you would need to make you feel at home. The beds were also very comfortable.

The apartment is in a very noisy area. With the road on one end and ongoing construction on the other side. We definitely could not sleep in. We were also disappointed by the fact that you have to pay extra to use the swimming pool & gym. We were not told this beforehand.

The location was good, we liked that it was a gated community, we felt secure all times.

The apartment was dirty – when we first arrived, the dirty barefoot foodsteps went straight from apartment door to the kitchen. The description of the apartment states it’s 300 square meters but it’s actually not more than 100. Description promised the bath and private pool, actually there was a public pool for many houses to share, and no bath. At first we were told by the pool that we have to pay extra for it, later on host paid for us so we didn’t have to do it. The apartment had no warm water in the shower and the drinking water in the machine got over on the second or third day, no one filled it up. The electricity system was absolutely disaster – it had to be recharged after every few days until it run over again and the power suddenly went off. And be very careful – the host first asks you to pay extra for the power to get it back by saying air conditioner takes so much power that clients need to pay for it. Only when I said I am not willing to pay any extra as in the booking the power and air conditioner was included, the host paid the new power loading by herself and I didn’t have to pay any extra fees.
