The property matched the photos, and the description was accurate. It was comfortable and cozy.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

Great location a few minutes from the metro line 1 (the cute one from 1898), right off the historic Andrassy Avenue, easy walk to the Museum of Terror, the Hero's Square and the hot baths and museums in the park behind it. It was a direct shot by bus or metro to the center of Budapest, but you could also enjoy a pleasant walk there, too. Felt very safe (a lot of embassies around there). The apartment is spotless and everything is like new (if not new; we thought we might be the first guests!) Great amenities, everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom, efficient clothes washer-dryer, great hot water and shower pressure, underfloor heating in the bathroom, separate toilet is nice, and lots of lighting options to be a bright or dim as you prefer in each room. Owner Vicki was really great, gave us lots of info in advance, perfect instructions on getting there from the airport and getting the key. She came right away when we realized the heat wasn't turning on the first night and fixed it. There's a nice little living room with big-screen TV and you can watch Netflix and Amazon Prime. The mezzanine bedroom upstairs has its own little lounge area with sofa, too. We would certainly come back here.

If you have trouble with steep stairs or want to sleep in while others are in the living room and kitchen, then pick the bedroom downstairs with the door, because the one upstairs is an open mezzanine room (no door to close). Not a deal-breaker as long as you know in advance. :-) Otherwise I would also recommend bringing eye shade if you're sensitive to light in the morning, as the curtains in the bedrooms are not completely black-out. Finally, know that the apartment is a ground floor entrance onto the private courtyard of the residential building, so you don't have a "view" of the city, but it's nice to sit out on the little table and say hi to neighbors if you see them coming and going (feels very "like a local" here).

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The host was incredibly helpful, always replying quickly and kindly to any questions we had. She was very friendly and was making sure everything was perfect. The apartment itself was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed for daily life—things like deodorant, shower gel, and other essentials were provided, which was a really nice touch. We would absolutely recommend staying here and would love to come back in the future!

Nothing. Only slight improvement would be full sized iron instead of travel size but that’s a minor point as the place is amazing

An apartment with all that you need to make it your home, even for a longer period of time.(I had the feeling that the host had thought about everything when equiping the apartment) The apartment is decorated with taste. The bed and pillows were very comfortable that, combined with the quietness of the neighbourhood, gave us a good sleep. Very nice and helpfull owner. Well thought ligthing system. There are sockets everywhere you will need. Safe neighbourhood(a Police headquarter is close to the apartment)

The stairs might be hard to climb for people out of shape

Beautiful, comfortable, modern spacious appartement. Victoria was very helpful, the flat was comfy, beautiful, clean and well equipped.

The dining table was a bit small and also only 4 chairs. Also would have been great to have some washing powder or anything to use the washing machine with.
