ESCasa Aramana is by far one of the best places I’ve stayed so far, everything was perfect. The house is located in a privileged spot, the views are amazing, beds are super comfortable, the house is extremely clean and it has all the amenities. On top of everything, the hostess, Marisol, was the best. She was super attentive, helped us in everything we needed, she made our stay in the island so easy. Hands down we will go back to Casa Aramana on our next trip to Vieques!
USThe location was high over the town of Isabelle II with sweeping views out to the sea. The house was outside of town and so it was very quiet as well.
It was a bit challenging to find the house, but that might have been more of a Google maps problem. Once the owner, Marisol, explained how straightforward it was to get into town or out to the main road of Rt. 200 we had no problems.
USBeautiful home, kind hosts! The view was gorgeous!
PRThe host was very friendly.
The place was hard to find on google map.
USThe house was perfect and well stocked with the basics to get you settled. Not to mention Marisol was amazing and made us feel completely at home. You have a wonderful and beautiful house with a pool after you're done in the sea. You off the main streets as well, so you have some distance from all the madness. Marisol was in constant touch and doing everything she could to make us comfortable from getting to the house from the ferry to finding our way around town and making sure we had everything we needed. Route 200 was one of the best pieces of advice! Thank you for taking such good care of us! Some quickies: parking great, pool great, showers great, living area great! Bottom line: we weren't lacking for anything when it came to the living arrangements and couldn't be happier. All we had to worry about was what we were doing for the day and how to get there. I hope it's not another 18 years before I make it back... so much changed.
Make sure you use the AC in July-August... Whoooaa hot! The pool helps with that though. There's really no negatives besides the fact that I'm a bit of a walker and it's got a pretty decent hill if you try to walk to Isabel II... however read above... the distance from the madness is also a huge part of the positive! It's really only a 15 or so minute walk too... so very very low negative. Watch out for the dogs if you take the north windy route though... Walk to and from route 200 if you decide to walk. Not a negative, but just know you will be driving up a hill on narrow roads (possibly shared with chickens and/or horses). Plan accordingly and rent a jeep or similar and you'll be alright (or walk if you really seek those steps)!
