Bountang Riverside Hotel

Lovely views from the balconies and good sized room. Breakfast was simple but nice and filling. Nice and quiet on a night too.

Aircon didn't work so well.

Stunning view of the environment, as is shown in Booking. Nga, the manager is eager to do her utmost to help/please the customers, and her two kids are so lovely and well-educated.

We weren't aware that there was no lift, hence getting to the upper floors could be difficult for people with health (knee) issues.

The exceptional view!

The hotel was very dated and unkept - basin in bathroom leaked, aircon leaked. Sheets and towels very old - in general was poorly maintain which is a shame as it is a great location.

Great location, tasty breakfast and the staff were so friendly and helpful helping us to organise trips and taxis etc.

I stayed here and found the price to be very good compared to the quality of the room I received. There was a slight issue with the lighting, but when I pointed it out, they fixed it almost immediately, even though it was quite late at night. The manager was very enthusiastic, which made a very good impression on me. I recommend staying here if you visit Vangvieng.

Location was great right in town and great helpful staff moved me into a better room on the second night cool view

The air con in the room was under sized so didnt work to well but they had fans

I loved my room with a balcony and the most spectacular views of the mountains. I spent hours just watching the balloons and paramotors. Amazing views of the sunrises and sunsets. It was close to many restaurants, street food and shops. About a 10 minute walk to the main town. The free breakfast was simple but delicious. Eggs, fruit and a few other things. The staff were lovely and friendly. They were very helpful when I was booking my tours. I would definately come back here again.
