"The place you didn’t know you needed "

10.0

I was skeptical about staying here because, despite the amazing pictures, there were no reviews. I took a chance and booked anyway. Turns out it’s a new place and I was, technically, the very first official guest. And let me tell you it’s a gorgeous place. Anjie is an amazing host who went out of her way to make sure I was as comfortable as I could be. The place is a little outside town but hotels.com has it placed right in town on the map, something Anjie is working to sort out. At the time of my stay, there was some construction still going on. Can’t wait to see how this place will look like once it’s done (not sure such a time will come since Anjie is always coming up with ideas of how to make it feel like home). I have travelled quite a bit and I have never felt more at home as I did at the Baroness. It was only one night. I arrived as a guest and met a host. By the end of one day, I was leaving a friend behind. This is a perfect place for a gateway of any kind, girls’ weekend out, boys behaving badly, honeymoon, small group retreat…the works. Side note - she has an amazing restaurant (Ja’Dijo) in town that serves amazing food. If you decide to stay in expensive yet unimpressive places in town, still do check out the restaurant. Thank me later. No, I wasn’t paid to write this 😆. I just go way out to appreciate beauty and excellent customer service when I see it
