Clean and spacious room, Friendly staff, within walking distance from city centre as well as Gregory lake, Run by family and they were taking all efforts to make stay comfortable

The room was really comfortable, the sea view was amazing. That side of the hotel overlooks a small train station and I actually enjoyed that aspect - I liked watching the hustle and bustle and the trains going past - but as others noted, yes, you can hear the trains (but also the waves!). The location is a tiny bit outside the tourist part but a very swift (and cheap) tuktuk ride away. Nice breakfast - huge choice.

Nothing major to note, only tiny details. My main annoyance was that it always took really long for a lift to arrive. The pool was full when I tried to go in so not fit for swimming, but it was around sunset so other times might be less busy.

Wir hatten zwei absolut traumhafte Tage in Nuwara Eliya. Das Personal, das Frühstück, das großzügige Zimmer einfach perfekt :)! Der Kochkurs bei „Nuwara Eliya Cooking class for foreigners“ ist absolut zu empfehlen.

Beautiful gardens, comfortable bed, great shower, lovely staff, delicious breakfast. We loved our stay at Suriya Guest house and definitely recommend it.

Exceptionally lovely staff. Really kind and helpful. We left some items and they kindly contacted us and offered to post onto our next destination and were there when we arrived. The food from both the cafe and restaurant were delicious.

Welcomed on arrival by staff. Gorgeous breakfast with options. Shame we only stayed one night!

A beautiful accommodation, with a cosy room (though also has AC for when needed). It had everything we needed for our one night stay. Great shower and very helpful staff who sorted us a taxi for getting to Ambewela Station early the next morning to catch our train. Very tasty dinner and breakfast. 10 min walk to most of the key areas and lovely cafe available downstairs. Beautiful medidation/yoga space on the top floor if interested.
