The living room had a beautiful fireplace with coal which was a real treat in the evening and allowed my husband to be in his element burning some turf

The location for us was great. The size of the property was also excellent for a family

A little more attention to detail would be great. For example the bulb in the en-suite bathroom wasn’t working - which meant not being able to use the loo at night. There was no frying pan (but we did ask for one). There wasn’t really enough cutlery for us as a family of 5. Not enough forks and only 2 tea spoons. The dish sponge left was old and dirty. The TV also only worked for Netflix. We missed being able to just have normal TV on in the mornings.

Such a friendly host. Nothing was any bother. Left logs and coal for the fire and helped with all the kids channels getting set up. Lovely welcome basket on arrival full of treats. Warm, clean, hot water, plenty of blankets and towels. Close to cafes and shops within walking distance and everything else is a short drive away. Our 3 kids loved their stay and the beautiful garden full of flowers. Private parking and dog friendly too which was a huge bonus for us. Would definitely stay here again.

House was spacious, clean,very comfortable, had all the amenities, cooker,oven,toaster,washing machine etc.Great location to everything.was a we bit apprehensive with the previous review but everything in the house is 100 per cent.couldnt fault it.Host left coal if we wanted to light a fire.option was there and plenty of hot water.going to upload a few photos as I think last review didn't do it any justice.
