This place is incredibly spacious and just a 1-2 minute walk from the beach, where you can enjoy the Mediterranean Sea. The house features a charming Greek style and a beautiful garden. The host lives on-site, but on a separate level, so you'll still have your privacy. We highly recommend this place

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Azzurra in Messina, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The apartment is beautifully renovated and offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and charming Sicilian touches. The location is unbeatable, right on the beachfront. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything you might need, including a fully functional kitchen and a washing machine. The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She greeted us with a bottle of local wine, which was a lovely touch. We loved the proximity to the Beach and the ease of access to nearby shops and restaurants was great. The free parking and WiFi were also much appreciated.

Very well situated, the location (backing onto the beach) is beautiful, and the property is extremely well maintained.

It was so cute how the host bought some pastries from the near by cafes for us! After traveling, I always want to eat and thank god there was already some yogurt, water, milk and pastries in the fridge! So cute and delicious! The mattresses are super comfortable and there is lots of natural light which makes it even more beautiful. There is also the beach 30 seconds away and also 30 seconds away from a grocery store which is a HUGE perk when you are in a pinch. The host provided extra toiletries as well and lots of towels- great stay!

A couple times during our stay the power went out, and I wasn't sure why, but I called the host and they fixed it within 5 minutes. Also a couple minor things in the kitchen, there weren't any kitchen towels and there we no bowls.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Azzurra. Paola was a wonderfully kind host who welcomed us with an assortment of delicious Sicilian cookies and a bottle of Sicilian-made wine. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and in a perfect location with plenty of parking on the street. The mattresses are very comfortable and there were plenty pillows and quality bed sheets. Paola also left so many amenities--new toothbrushes, soaps and shampoos, espresso pods, tea, etc. There is a supermarket across the street along with several restaurants just a short walk from the property. We cooked breakfast every morning in the apartment. The sea is literally steps from the quaint backyard. Don't miss an opportunity to stay at Casa Azzurra. We will be back for sure!

Just two minor issues. The property states three bedrooms, but there are only two bedrooms and a pull-out sofa in the living room. This was not a problem for us, but I would say the apartment is perfect for four people rather than five people. The lock mechanism on the outside gate needs to be replaced as it was difficult to operate.

We came to Sicily unexpectantly because my father became ill on his vacation. I have never experienced such wonderful hospitality, and I travel a lot. Paola is an absolutely lovely host. I can't wait to come back for a vacation under positive circumstances. The property is bright & beautiful, clean, and comfortable, has a nice garden with sun and shade with a walkout to the beach, and is very safe. We had a full kitchen and laundry room and it's air-conditioned. Amenities are a quick walk to grocery stores and wonderful restaurants. The hospitality was above and beyond what we were expecting. 10 Stars for this property! I'm so grateful to have stayed here.
