Livigno Nest

Position is perfect, kind of 7/8 minutes walking to city center. There is a private parking, aside from road (no risk of sand and debries thrown by passing bus or snowplow). We went there for skiing and the closer lift is Cassana, abt 5min walking. There is a ski deposit and a small balcony (we were bringing the boots at home drying them on balcony and then putting them in house to have them warm in morning). Additionally the city bus (free with skipass) blu line is stopping right in front of the house. it is good to have an own kitchen so you are not forced to walk out and look for restaurants. Coop shop is 6/7 minutes walking. Bedroom is maybe little too small however if fits the needs of 2 persons. Automatic temperature control can be adjusted as needed, however it feels like it is showing wrong temperature (2.5/3 deg higher than real room temp). To have a comfortable one we were setting to 25/26. Key delivery is "self service", you will get a code and there is a box at side of door, dial your code and box will open giving you key. For a week in the Livigno ski slopes with proper privacy it is perfect.

Furniture is little outdated, consider that it is on a 1st floor, and the access stairs are narrow and slippery (especially the corner, especially if snowing) walk up and down with proper care! The access road was covered with ice, no one was passing to clear it or spread salt, walking can be dangerous, especially while carryng ski/snowboard gear. Temperature control is not properly calibrated, you need to set up to 3deg higher to get your desired temperature. Shower controls are to be learned, we used to regulate the twisting valves and then using the stick mixer. Altough check in is from 15.00 i suggest to advice about arrival time, or there will be risk of finding cleaners still working.

Accessibility to the center, communication with the owner

The apartment is very cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. 5min walking from ski lift and 10min walking from city center. Free parking and supermarket in front of the building. Ilaria was also very prompt to help with all our requests. Thanks!
