By far the worst experience whilst using booking.com. Surely this host should be removed from the platform. After booking and paying a non refundable two night stay, you are sent the check in instructions. First you have to go to another appt block 600m up the road, sign in at security to "pick something up". You are then instructed to climb over a ground floor balcony to retrieve the key from a lockbox, I did not feel comfortable about this. Then you are expected to lie to security, saying are just "visiting" and make no mention of hotel/homestay. Then you are confronted by the sign in the elevator which made me feel that I was doing wrong, I assume it is against the HOA rules. Within an hour of our stay the water to our unit was shut off, I messaged Winnie, our host and got very little response from her, she didn't come over to see what the problem was and I had no one to help there as we weren't supposed to be there. We couldn't shower or even flush the toilet. By the next morning, I had to organize another hotel as we couldn't stay any longer without water and Winnie just told me it was not her fault or problem. After initially saying she would refund our second night, she just ignored me. Book here at your own risk!
