GBThe location was wonderful. So peaceful and rural and yet only a 10 minute drive into bustling Essaouira. Literally a two minute walk from the Villa were fields where we saw donkeys, sheep, goats, a huge herd of camels and several tortoises.
Beautiful huge villa with huge wonderful private pool and plenty of beds around it. It was very relaxing and quiet (apart from the odd donkey and dog) Really lovely and decor was good with some interesting artwork. Note there is no air con but there is always a good wind in Essaouira and the villa seemed cool enough for us. The villa, while very comfortable and bedding and surfaces were spotlessly clean I felt it could have done with a general deep clean. The kitchen cupboards felt a bit 'greasy' and there were a lack of some cooking items e.g. scissors, colander, saucepans. We managed as there were only two of us but if there were a big family or friends and you want to stay in you might struggle. Other than that Mohammed - the contact - was lovely and helpful and fixed anything immediately.

Would be good to have an electric toaster in the kitchen. A basic “Welcome pack” with a small amount of bread, milk, water as with most villa rentals is always welcome.

MAGBWe had the most amazing stay in Essaouira in this family villa. It was a beautiful, spacious and peaceful property in a calm area, just 10 minutes away from the city. Our host, Abdallah, was incredibly helpful and accommodating - he drove us into the city and took care of all our needs. The villa had lots of wonderful outdoor spaces, with a large garden and pool for the kids to play in. Playing basketball was a particular highlight as they were delighted to find an outdoor basketball hoop. This was the perfect holiday villa for families. The area was peaceful and the villa was well equipped, making it a real home away from home. We can’t thank Abdallah enough for his hospitality and are already looking forward to our next stay here.
