The property was close to the train line, and had two toilets (one upstairs and one down). It was really good value for money. The bedrooms included fans.

The photos on the listing barely match the house and are quite misleading. The upstairs was stifling even with the windows open—next to no air movement. The soft furnishings were in a state—the bath and toilet mats were falling apart, the bed linens were mismatched and made of 100% polyester so they were hot and sweaty. The duvet/comforters provided were baggy and broken inside so they did not lay flat and were horribly uncomfortable. There was only a face cloth provided for drying hands in the downstairs toilet; and we had to go digging in the wardrobes for towels as none were left out for us. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, mould on the ceiling over the shower and in the seals in the shower. There were spiderwebs and dust bunnies under beds and the couch. There was a dirty nappy outside the back door on the ground. There were spiderwebs rubbish bin in the kitchen had a broken lid and was dirty. There tiles in the kitchen were stick on vinyl and were peeling away and pinned on with tacks to keep them in place. There was a dog toy full of an unknown liquid in a cupboard by the tv, there was no option for coffee—no instant coffee and no French press. The dining chairs were wobbly and had bolts that needed tightening as a few of them were falling apart. The photos show curtains in the bedrooms and living spaces but these have been replaced with vertical vane blinds which sounds fine but the acoustics in the house as a result—EVERYTHING was noisy. On the first night we were there the neighbours were playing LOUD music into the night.

The bathroom is great, except for the mirror positioned for the torso instead of the head/shoulders, and the towels weren't as expected. They should be white fluffy and fresh. The water feature in the front yard was lovely.

There was nothing on the site to warn of an upstairs/downstairs configuration which is an issue for those with mobility issues. No coffee sachets, only tea. The place felt unfinished with the kitchen flatpack still with its protective blue strips and stickers on all of the appliances. The linen was weird, not white like you would expect. The sofa in the lounge area was uncomfortable.

The bathrooms were stylish, loved the tiles. Although not much pressure in the shower, we still enjoyed the bathroom. Awesome having a washing machine and dryer.

The house walls were very dirty. You could see feet marks on the wall at the end of the bed. No secure parking space, we had to leave car on the road and when we walked outside to check on the car, there were people looking in our car windows. The Smart tv kept freezing, which was very frustrating for our little ones who just wanted to watch netflix after a big day travelling. The splashback next to the stove had food marks. Check in was a bit later than the normal check in of 2pm. No pressure in kitchen tap.
