Great location, basics like tea and coffee, spices and personal supplies provided, comfortable beds. Host was very good! Responsive and helpful.

Awkward set up for two couples - a single bedroom with a door is accessed through a bedroom with a king sized bed. These two rooms share a bathroom. Another bed was set up in the living room and a second bathroom with a teeny shower is near the kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay at La Baronessa. The host was very responsive and welcoming throughout our visit. The surroundings were beautiful and the neighborhood had so much charm and character. It was a lovely place to experience Palermo and we truly enjoyed our stay.

The interior, the location, the apartment had everything we needed and more!. Highly recommended if you ever stay in Palermo

This is an unusual eclectic apartment, full of old world charm - it was great. The host was contactable and responsive, and there were plenty of breakfast supplies. This made the experience most enjoyable.

Parking in Sicilian cities is a challenge at the best of times. This apartment is inside the ZTL meaning taking a car to the apartment requires a pass. The alternative is to park outside the ZTL and carry luggage to the apartment which could be some distance, depending on where one finds a park. However, the apartment has an open area it shares with other surronding buildings where parking was always available, albiet within the ZTL The host was kind enough to arrange ZTL passes (which were low cost) for our vehicle for the entire stay so we were able to park 20 metres from the apartment building front door. This, combined with the elevator made coming and going very easy.

We absolutely loved this place and felt so at home here. Aside from the striking decor, the apartment is roomy, comfortable, well-equipped and very good value. The location too, is great. When we booked it, we thought it was a bit off the beaten track, but we soon fell in love with the area: Botanical gardens just round the corner, as well as good restaurants, a fabulous paticceria, and a sense that this is a real Palermo neighbourhood. It looks a bit rough but it felt very safe and very quiet at night, too. And free parking? Amazing. We stayed here for 2 nights, and then moved into a hotel in central Palermo. Wished we'd stayed here for longer. If La Barossa is available, book it!

If I was being really picky I'd say, the kitchen could do with some wine glasses, but otherwise, the only thing we didn't like was having to leave!
