we really liked the homestay, the surroundings we're really beautiful and the family was really really welcoming and kind. the owner hari speaks really good english. the food was delicious and everything was clean.

we booked a tour with hari and sadly we were a little bit disappointed. we told him we only had 3 hours instead of 6 and our priority are ricefields. on the tour it seemed like he wanted to sqeeze the 6 hours tour into 3 and we rushed through the ricefields and eventhough we said we've already seen one of the waterfalls he still brought us there and made us pay the entrance of 20k each. it wasn't a lot of money, but we wanted to see something else and we thought we communicated that properly. he did not really respond to our wishes. he really knows a lot about the ricefields and the culture but he only gave us some information when we asked for it. so in this case the value for money was not good. - Unfortunately there was no mosquito net over the bed

I had a great time at this homestay. The host, Hari was very helpful and accomodating. He is very knowledgeable about the region, speaks perfect english and also organises local tours:) My room was clean and comfortable.

The water in my shower was very cold during my stay and the wifi connection was pretty slow, but the homestay is situated in the jungle! So it is to be expected

"Absolutely amazing"

9.0

We had an amazing experience in Coffee Homestay. Hari was really welcoming and available for us, great chats, sharing his knowledge and stories, we even got a little concert. It's a really authentic place, in the middle of coffee, cacao, and banana trees. Most important is people around, locals and travellers who are here to discover each other (We learned how to roast coffee). Surroundings are awesome. We can walk from the room to Tetebatu waterfalls through the Black Monkey Forest and rice fields. Just be careful, it's around the mountain and it can be cold during the night. We really loved Tetebatu, we will come back.

Just a little issue with hot water the first night, which has been solved immediately.

"Wonderful people, great location"

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. Don’t hesitate to book it. Harry and his community are so welcoming and generous. Harry organised scooter hire and a tour of the local waterfalls, spice market and a bamboo weaving enterprise. He even invited us to a local ceremony to celebrate a new building. The rooms are small but well equipped and very clean. If you want somewhere off the beaten track with a real community feel to it then this is a must. Just bring earplugs if you want a lie in!

"Best place to stay!"

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at Coffee Homestay! The rooms are very clean and new. The bed was great, and the shower had good pressure and hot water. No AC needed, since Tetebatu is higher, so it is cooler. Hari (the owner) and Angi speak perfectly English, and even a bit of Spanish and Dutch! Everyone here is very welcoming, and all the 3 nights we stayed here, we played some cardgames in the evening with multiple members of the family. We did the walking tour with Eman and Jay, which was great! The surroundings are very beautiful. Also one night there was a open English course at Hari’s home, which is there twice a week to support the local community. You can help out if you want to, which we really liked. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we were sad we had to leave so soon already, but next time when we are in Indonesia we will definitely be back. Hati hati!

Just an absolutely amazing place!!! Hari really makes this place - a great host with lovely family and friends. We had a great tour with them & spent the evenings chilling. The bungalows are beautiful and it was the hottest shower id had in 5 months of travelling. Completely recommend!

"Best stay of my 5 months asian trip"

If you’re reading this comment section because you’re hesitating for this accomodation, stop everything and book it right now !!!!! If you regret later 0032470311831 here is my phone number, just text me and tell me I’m a liar. I’m serious, the homestay is amazing, so cute, you take your breakfast on your terrace. But all the point is the amazing staff, you’ll mert Hari and his community. They take care of you, you spend time with them, talking, sharing expĂ©rience, playing cards and so more. I suggest you to do the guided tour of the village with him, si interresting to meet people over there.

"Lombok top place"

10.0

An incredible and very local place. You'll discover how the locals live in Tetebatu, far from the busy, touristy places. We visited beautiful waterfalls, saw black monkeys and learned about the local culture with people of all ages. We made unforgettable memories, so don't hesitate to go. Many thanks to the whole homestay family, Harry, Anggi, Aguil, Eman, ajyam and all the others đŸ«¶

The owner is very kind, a community leader for his village! He speaks very good English and is very welcoming. A beautiful homestay in nature with a traditional style of living and it prioritises eco conservation and taking care of the community. Please visit if you care about sustainable tourism!đŸ„°đŸ«¶
