Donau Resort

We liked everything here. The room was new, big, clean and comfortable for 3 adults. Very beautiful design of the room! Service is perfect. Location is very convenient for visiting what we planned to visit. The resort has its own restaurant - everything was tasty! The owners are very friendly! Many thanks to them for our staying.

This riverside accommodation on the Danube was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with a mini fridge and air conditioning. The food was a culinary journey from breakfast to dinner, and the cocktails were perfect. The infinity pool and Jacuzzi overlooking the Danube offered breathtaking views and a truly relaxing experience. Highly recommended!

The breakfast offer is limited to table service , but the avocado cream with toast and boiled egg and fresh green salad together is a unique idea among hotel breakfast offers, we ordered 3 times. The hotel enterieur is carefully designed, modern, attractive . Panoramic view to Danube and mountains is stunning . The warm jacuzzi on the river side is a great idea, worth to try . The owners are extra friendly and kind. The location is perfect to start several excursion in this beautiful region. Parking space is large enough on both sides of the road, and free.

We suggest to diversify the music inside the restaurant and at outside dinner place in the evenings, with calm, moody, lovely music , becuase the hard disco makes many people escape , and you loose order value.... by staying there less time . In order to feel more cosy, please fix hooks on the wall in the rooms and bathrooms. The guests need to hang their coats, jackets, hats, towels, bath suits, bathrobe somewhere.... And we propose to organise different events for tourists, becuase the whole area does not provide any social events, which would be essential to increase tourism . Orsova , which should be a touristic center, with vivid HORECA services, shops, programmes, is a dead , abandoned city , there is no any place to spend your money.... At Easter Holiday everything was completely closed. No coffees, no dozens of restaurants on the riverside, no bars, no shops for tourists, no events, nothing... So You must initiate parties, programs for guests.
